How It Works
Double-Hood Insulated Design
The conveyor operates within a dual-hood system—an inner hood carries the jaggery, while an outer hood circulates chilled air to maintain a consistent, insulated environment.
Chilled Air Recirculation via Radiator & Heat Pump/Chiller
A built-in radiator and fan system cools air using a chiller or heat pump operating at ~10°C. This air is recirculated to extract heat from the jaggery, maintaining efficient, uniform cooling.
Belt with Adjustable Speed
The food grade belt, transports jaggery smoothly while operating at adjustable speeds between 1–3 m/min. This allows the system to accommodate varying production volumes and optimize retention time.
Food-Grade Construction and Clean Discharge
A food-grade nylon belt supports hygienic transfer. At the end of the belt, a Teflon scraper ensures smooth, contactless jaggery removal.
Blanket Thickness Control
The system maintains a uniform jaggery layer (blanket) of 10–25 mm, ensuring consistent cooling and preventing thermal gradients across the product.
Automated Speed with VFD
Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) adjusts belt speed automatically based on jaggery load, ensuring appropriate cooling time without fully automating the entire system.
